SERV
SERV (Students Encourage Religious Vocations) is a group of young men who gather to explore vocations to the priesthood. Through prayer and discussion, the group learns what the priesthood is all about, and the members have an opportunity to consider the possibility that God might be calling them to be priests in a totally non-committing atmosphere, free of any feeling of being “drafted.” SERV meets once a month on a Friday. We gather at 3:30 PM at the rectory for some recreation, followed by a pizza dinner. Afterwards, we have a prayer and discussion session, during which we talk about our Catholic faith, the priesthood, what it requires, and how we might know if God is calling us to this great ministry. SERV is open to young men in 8th grade through adulthood. All that one needs in order to belong to SERV is the willingness to leave the door open to the possibility that God might be calling him to be a priest. For further information, contact Fr. Carrozza at 786-2742
